Apartment and owners were excellent but building is a health hazard Positive: Amazing property and outstanding understanding from owners/managers in accommodating a check in at midnight. They even gracefully allowed me to park the car in their secure car park for 2 more hours after check out which definitely deserves mentioning and appreciating. The high ceilings made the space feel larger than it was and the floor to ceiling doors were definitely something new for me, in a good way(ps. they open inwards). The furnishings and fitings were modern, minimalist and sleek with more than ample storage. The kitchenette had all the essentials. The side view of the sea through the floor to ceiling glass windows along with the palm trees was really picturesque. The location was amazing with amenities within 5 minutes walking distance. Negative: Most of these may not be directly at the property owners/managers but definitely left us with a sour taste. The AC is controlled centrally and is turned on and off depending on how the weather is(most probably) and not how you would feel/need. The building is an active construction site with work starting at/after 9am which meant it was loud and dirtier than usual(in contrast to the lounge and apartments). Which sadly brings me to the bad part, due to it being an active construction site, the condition of the lifts are a life threat. My wife and son were stuck in the lift for 25 minutes before the lift could be forced open by most possibly the site technician/manager and it didn't seem like this was the first time. The lift had dropped twice from third floor and was stuck halfway between second and third floor. You can imagine the horror. I contacted the owners straightway as soon I realized they were stuck and it took 25 minutes for them to be rescued. Not to mention the lift can fit a pushchair and 2 person max so that was the only reason I was outside and was able to call the owners and the emergency services. It gets worse as it might be something many people face coming to Albania and to no fault of the owners. The emergency services can not speak or understand English. I also felt there was a lack of willingness to help from their part. The fire services had nobody to speak/undestand English and the police central line spoke and understood it but when passed to the local branch/agents they couldn't recover/understand the location. Therefore they couldn't arrive to help and by the time they called back which would have 40 minutes after contacting them thankfully we no longer required the assistance. The whole floor(other apartments) seemed to be for tourists so nobody else offered to help despite them climbing three stories due to lift not working.

Restful/Inviting, Congenial and Exceptional Positive: The location is superb. The apartment was spotless and exactly like the photos. I love the setting/design of the apartment. There is a quiet & refined lobby although accessible to guests or those with the access code. The apartment is generally quiet. It has busy but friendly neighbourhood; restaurants, supermarkets, bars, souvenir shops are all a walking distance. The apartment is directly opposite the beach. The customer service was exceptional, they do not only listen and act as well on their guest's concerns or requests. The check-in is advanced, flawless and easy. Clear instruction will be sent to the guest on the day of arrival after confirmation of payment. The apartment is accessible with a code only, no card nor key around to carry around just numbers(code) on your mobile phone. It v a walk in shower. Enough kitchen utensils to cook your food. I will highly recommend 👌 to anyone with a good taste and enjoys their comfort & serenity. To top it all the cost is budget-friendly/inexpensive. Negative: Although there are few stuffs that can be corrected.. the facility mgt should have at least provided a bottle of water as a compliment for its guests in the apartment prior to arrival. I arrived the facility by 2am, was exhaused and thirsty, all shops were closed by this time. I dis not know if the tap water is drinkable or not but boiled the tap water, let it cool a bit then drank it. In addition, there is no towel hooks/bars in the bathroom, absolutely not possible to hang the towel in the bathroom not even on the doors as they r lofty. I either had to put it on the toilet (of course after closing the lid) or by the side of washbasin when I want to take shower then afterwards spread it on one of the dinning chair in the livingroom. Also no toilet paper holder,this is also not a good one as well. There was only soup bowls in the kitchen, a platter will be a good idea and medium-sized pot too. Although I ought to have shared this with the management privately because they listen but unfortunately i couldn't but i hope they take note of it. Overall I will rate the facility a 95/100 and book a stay again and again everytime i visit Albania.
